Trapezius injury, shoulder have changed shape
I woke up this morning with terrible cramping pain in between neck and shoulder. Trapezius I assume. I have had it all day it really hurts. I have noticed that on the painful side the right shoulder has completely dropped and is lower than the other side my shoulders are suddenly totally wonky and its really scaring me. Is this a thing with a muscles spasm or strain
Are you able to shrug the affected shoulder, and are you able to turn your head left and right against resistance?
I can do these things I have just google spinal accessory nerve palsy and it looks like that from the front not sure about the back. It hurt to turn my head towards the bad side. I'm panicking
There could be a lot of other reasons apart from accessory nerve palsy, perhaps go visit the doctor just to be on the safe side. Don't panic, even if it is that, the doctor will help you manage it

No injury or trauma, just woke up like this
