Well, I don't remember any riots in the 70s and 80s at rugby or cricket grounds.

What year is it now?

Well, quite, but you can certainly see why we've got to this stage.

My point is there is no justification now for discriminating against football fans based on outdated, classist stereotyping. Have you seen how wasted the Barmy Army get at cricket matches?

It might be outdated, but I don't think it was unjustifiably classist at the start. It addressed a specific problem at the time.

I think that you are all missing the point about the SNP.

They have united scotland. They want to do what's best for us. They have shown that we don't have to be a whipped dog in the corner but we can have a voice. That's why the SNP is getting picked at from people down south because they don't like the fact that we could decide on something important despit being told we were wanted and were important in September. It's time to make your mind up either you want to treat scotland as a equal or you want rid of us.

The SNP is a party of racist nationalists who despise England and don't give a toss about Wales and Northern Ireland, a pathetic and selfish party appealing to the anti-English sentiment that Scots are brought up with but is never questioned because racism is okay towards English people.

In England you are banned from having it 'within sight of the playing area' because Thatcher couldn't trust people to have a drink. All other sports fans are saints and never disgrace themselves so the classist discrimination was justified.

I watch football at Fulham - the place is knee deep in bars all round the ground and inside (lots)... I'm not sure what you are talking about.

Its maintenance most certainly is classist.

You are not allowed to have a drink on a terrace. You can have them in the concourse though. You can't take flags into a ground though, being a caveman football fan you might try to impale someone with it.

Not at the rugger though.

Oh I never knew that... But I'm not the type of person who walks round drinking - its a bit uncouth. Looks all wrong - like trouble.

First of all, you don't even understand the word racist by definition. Second of all you are talking complete conjecture. If that were the case then there would be no english people voting for the SNP at all

Its the truth, everybody knows it deep down. The SNP is really just an anti-English party, and Scotland as a nation is hugely racist, prejudiced towards England or whatever word you think suits better they hate them. And they're not very secretive about it.

Somebody generalising a whole nation of people by calling them racist. The irony.

Are you trying to deny Scotland doesn't have a deep seated hatred of England? It is ridiculous to deny it, just admit that there is a serious anti-English problem there

The only evidence of "racism" (you actually mean xenophobia) is from you. You have no proof and you're making yourself out to be a complete idiot.
The Connies are dead in Scotland. Good riddance. They have been dead there since Thatcher.

The SNP are not necessarily socialist, but they are more decidedly left-wing than the Labour party.
The Tories aren't dead in Scotland. Gone, perhaps, are the times where they could win substantial seats there, but I think they'll surprise a lot of people in this election. Tactical voting in some seats could see them over the line where the Left vote is split between Labour and the SNP.

You're the idiot m8, you're only response to what is essentially open racism is to cry 'racist' back, even though I never discriminated against them, just acknowledged the fact most of them hate England.

If you wanna stick your fingers in your ears and be ignorant about it go ahead, it reveals your and the SNP's dishonestly and ignorance, you'd get more respect from people if you just admitted to the anti-Englishness that is seeped in Scottish culture and institutions.

I'm sure you'll be happy to clarify why disliking someone from another country is not racist...

Sorry, Im not going to argue with someone who is mentally handicapped.

Until you can provide solid evidence of racism then I will reply.
