Regret A-Level choices

Hi
This year I took Maths , English literature, Economics and Sociology and due to ridiculously low grades in English , I'm considering dropping it next year with predicted AAB in the other 3. For a Degree in accounting and finance is this advisable or are my subjects not good enough ?

Those subjects sound fine. Most unis don't have any required subjects for accounting and finance, although a few require maths, which you have

Thanks ! Everyone just keeps saying the subjects are not competitive enough

Since most unis don't have specific subject requirements for accounting and finance degrees, I would say that having a good reference from your tutors, and being able to demonstrate your enthusiasm and aptitude for the subject is more important than the subjects you take
