C2 methods

Basically I'm retaking C2; Can you use C3/C4 methods in C2?
Like instead of long division, that remainder theorem thing with the letters and numbers (C3)

Yes you can and you would still get the marks providing you did it correctly.
quick question. isnt remainder theorem C2 stuff anyway? or is there an advancement to it in C3.... i wouldn't know as i am yet to start C3/4 and whatever other module ill be doing

Yes remainder theorem is C2. C3 doesn't have much advancement on the theorem but it does expect you to be able to further manipulate algebraic fractions.

Of course! If it saves you time why not. You can use product/chain/quotient rule for differentiation as well, as long as it saves you time
