Why is Manchester Metropolitan's open day on a school/college day? (22nd June) Especially as a lot of yr 12's have already started their A2's and will be finishing for the summer on the 8th of June. Are there any other dates?

There's generally two/three in October/November time though. I think there was two in October and then one in November in 2015 if this helps at all?
I'm sure you can go to a university open day regardless of it being a school day, the school should register it as authorised absence, at least my school does anyways.
