I did this, but made t the subject and subbed it in, forming an equation with v in it. I solved this and I THINK I got somewhere around 14 but can't really remember! My equation looked disgusting😂

Yeah, I did that as well, because it looked easier to do otherwise you would have to square the value for v then rearrange

i found the distance of each and found the difference between distances rather than finding difference between the displacements and then finding distance :frown:

Did the same as you but I think we will only lose 2 marks max at least

Ignore the pencil line
How are people getting 43 newtons for T

The force was acting down, so R= mg + Tsin60

How many marks would you get /3 if you equated the mass in the momentum question to be 335kg? Just 1? 2?

Can anyone remember this 10 mark question? I'll have a go at it

Ano123 posted the numbers. Here it is:
A has an initial velocity 8i+4j and acceleration -0.2i+0.1j, started at origin.
B has an initial velocity 6i+9j and acceleration 0.2i-0.1j and started at position vector 40i+50j.
Find the distance between A and B when their velocities are parallel.

Hi. For the football question i left out cos50 from ucos50. Otherwise i have everything as you do. I left it out by mistake. How many marks would i drop? Thanks

Grade boundary predictions anyone? I'm thinking 58/57 for an A?

I get 106 units for distance (105. something)

most likely yeah. not lower than 67 not higher than 70, since it was kinda harder than last year's paper imo which was 70 for 100 ums :/
When your thinking too hard
