Last minute parametrics help? Core 4

I'm doing the June 2013 (R) paper and I'm slightly stuck on question 7, part B. I know how to show the cartesian equation but how do you find the values a and b?

You know the parameters for t. You need the parameters for x, so you just put x=27sec^3(0) for A and x=27sec^3(pi/3) for B
