How competitive is Psychology?

Particularly at Birmingham uni, how hard is it to get onto a psychology course?

EDIT: By Birmingham uni, I meant University of Birmingham

I don't think the course matters so much. What university are you trying to get it? I think you need around AAB for all the three unis in birmingham - aston, bcu and uob.

Birmingham City want 280 tariff points from a minimum of 2 A-Levels, which would work out at BBC from 3 A-Levels.

Hi there, you can read all about our Psychology course here: http://www.bcu.ac.uk/courses/psychology including some more information about getting onto the course through Clearing. But yes, you will need 280 tariff points as mentioned above! Thanks! Jo from BCU

The better the university the harder it is to get in as a general rule. UOB want AAA for psychology, which has risen since last year they wanted AAB, so it depends on how capable you are of getting those grades.
