Entry requirements

Why does Exeter give two different entry requirements? For example AAA-AAB.

I think the AAB is the contextual offer

So if you go to a bad school they offer you lower entry requirements?

Well the contextual offer is for someone who goes to a low performing school, or has other factors which may hinder his results, such as family income, being in care etc... You still have to meet the entrance requirements of AAB though. The contextual offer will only offer you a consideration to admission staff so you still have to make a good personal statement, have a good reference and other stuff too
