Just a long-winded problem.

Firstly integrate with respect to time to find the displacement between 0 and 8 seconds.

Then use each estimation technique to see how far off the exact answer you are. As for providing explanations, I can't think of anything physically but mathematically you are under/over estimating when using those techniques and it also depends on your interval width used.
