I'm feeling more relaxed now too.
I didn't put anything under dates not available, I only have 2 module tests this year and it would just be the most unlucky thing ever if they fell on the same date as an interview..

thanks have you started this year? what have you been doing up to now...wondered if nursing would be better option at this stage? What do you hope to specialise in?

No, I'm just applying for 2011 entry. I'm currently doing an MRes in Biomedical Science specialising in Parasitology. Have finished my lab work ages ago but was off having my son so have come back to write up the thesis. I would have applied in 2000 but for age restrictions in place at that time so did biology degree and then started my MRes then discovered that age was not a factor anymore so thought nothing ventured, nothing gained as medicine is really what I've wanted to do for a long time. I wouldn't consider nursing but that is me. I'm not sure about specialism at this point, just hoping I get in somewhere.

Am I the only one who's starting interview prep? I got a medical law book from the hospital today, it's only 65 pages and breaks down all medical law into bite-size chunks. I recommend it (I'll get the name later)

Yeah don't sweat it on acknowledgments guys, it seems some uni's don't do it at all!
As for prep, I've been reading the BMJ/blogs/medical news sites every day, plus I took out a couple books on medical ethics. TBH for most of the questions they ask I have an opinion on already, just need to make sure I explain my position as well as understanding there may be a counter argument.

I should be getting my letter tomorrow...i phoned up UCAS for a different query and they gave me my ID and its the same as the one from apply-but as i had made so many incorrect attempts to login they gave me a new password
Ah whatever, they send you letters with the info right? I feel sick every time I think about more rejections, but there's nothing else I can even do.

Think of it this way...if it's meant to be you will get in and if not then re-apply next year and see what happens?
I know once the replies start coming i will probably feeling the same but right now you have to be positive
