I think it depends on the individual students more than the university; although it also depends on the location. (Lampeter, anyone?!)

I go to Southampton Uni and I find that some people have a very active student life, some barely go out at all and some are about half-way between the two. We're a pretty relaxed bunch and have a nice mixture of work and fun.

From what I've seen of the students at Imperial, they are pretty nice, and love a good time.
I hope this is the case for everyone there.

Surely any place where you have a large amount of students together is going to be sociable?
These threads just encourage Oxbridge bashing, and judging by my friend who goes to Wadham, the nightlife's actually pretty good.
As long as it's not Durham I don't give a flying 747 ****!

My money's on Oxbridge though...
Surely it depends on you and your group of friends?
I'd say Imperial a.k.a sausage fest.
Oxbridge people seem to have a very good student life
What about Scottish Unis?

My friend at LSE says the people there are really dull.
LSE or ICL...Oxbridge sounds pretty decent.
