London School of Economics for sure.

Why do people say Oxbridge? From what I've seen they have pretty active social lives, what with the college systems and mixing outside your subject etc.

Awww but shouldn't Imperial have an awesome nightlife etc. - it's in London! :frown:

I know, I guess it's kind of wasted on them if they just sit and study.
UCL on the other hand...:awesome:

Disagree - big cities have the disillusion of being vibrant and having an excellent night life, but they can also be the loneliest places in the world at the worst of times. They're also seriously daunting.

A tight university town like Oxford, Cambridge or Durham, or a thriving campus like Warwick, are much better undergrad environments. London imo can be left for postgrad, when you're used to living away from home.

Anywhere with lots of international students really. I don't blame them but in a foreign country etc its hard not to be very cliquey.

That is interesting, I haven't heard that before. Even somewhere tiny like St Andrews? I guess I am from such a boring city, London looks great.

From what I've seen of the students at Imperial, they are pretty nice, and love a good time.
I hope this is the case for everyone there.

I've heard that LSE is all work and no play.
I looked around in LSE, the outside looked dull, the lecture rooms looked dull, the people looked and WERE dull.
What do you expect it IS the london school of economics
I am going to admit i still want to go there, it has a good reputation - I will just make friends outside of uni :awesome:
you arent exactly goin to get an impartial answer here. But from what ive heard imperial
Scottish_Klams
What about Scottish Unis?

St Andrews in my opinion.
Many non imperial students tend to give there pennies worth about Imperial Lol even though they clearly don't know what it's like.

It's like any other university, diverse, most people like to socialise but you get some social recluses. (like any place)

Many a people her Like vodka island night @ Tiger tiger and clubs in london

I spent two days at oxford at it seemed socially retarded. I'm sure it's just the same as any other uni though, diversity.

Oxbridge/LSE/ICL are all pretty dry tbh. KCL is where it's at. I mean, on my floor 4 people hardly ever go out, 6 sometimes do and 10 are always out/playing hilarious drinking games that have, I admit, involved mass nudity in front of giggling security guards.....
