I spent two days at oxford at it seemed socially retarded. I'm sure it's just the same as any other uni though, diversity.

Was that for an interview? If so, of course the place would seem socially retarded: we're not allowed to take you to the bars, clubs and pubs :sadnod:

Many non imperial students tend to give there pennies worth about Imperial Lol even though they clearly don't know what it's like.

It's like any other university, diverse, most people like to socialise but you get some social recluses. (like any place)

Many a people her Like vodka island night @ Tiger tiger and clubs in london

Generally I would agree, but when I went for my open day at Imperial, the students admitted that the social scene was fairly poor, and they had tonnes of work on all the time.

Imperial.
LSE/Imperial. I'd hate to be in those places. It's a bit understandable for the LSE guys though. Half of their population is made up of international students. i don't think I'd want to socialise that much if I'm paying £15,000 a year just to get a degree.

It depends on the people you mix with. Any and every university will have a huge mix of those who are social, those who aren't, and those in between.
