hhmmmm I'm not convinced by it yet. Seems like a late entry to ride on Lord of the Rings' coat-tails. I'll stick around to see the dragons though...

To be completely honest, I'm more excited to see HBO's take on American Gods, but guess I have a year or two to wait.

I thought the second episode was much better than the first, which seemed a bit rushed, although I suppose they were trying to introduce the cast. IMO this isn't a series for people who haven't read the books, the significance of things like the stag horn impaling the dire wolf would probably be lost on those who haven't read the books.
