Carrying a weapon

Two days ago I made a thread about how I got assaulted with a hammer and was left with a facial injury, it was in the city centre, now I often go there and I'm prety sure I might come face to face with the attacker and this time , he'll probably carry a knife. So what would you do in the situation?

Also the police are looking for him as I gave a statement

Rape spray.

If you see him again just ring the police.

But on a serious note don't carry weapons. It just incites more anger, although a mace or a taser (illegal btw) may not go amiss.
