UCAS updated on 15th and 17th August?

So today I went onto UCAS to see whether I had got into uni. I originally had a conditional offer for my firm and insurance, but they both changed to unconditional and were updated on 17th and 15th August. Does this mean if I went on last night they would be there? Also, my firm choice sent me a letter today saying about 'my unconditional offer'. Does this mean they changed their mind on the offer only 2 days ago and my firm changed it on the 15th to unconditional?!

I got in and stuff so I'm not bothered, but I just wanted to know out of curiosity :biggrin:
