Perhaps R.S would be more suitable than physics for this course. R.S is a hard subject for most universities and is well respected (often at A-level it has little to do with religion it's just a combination of Philosophy and Ethics). English Lit will help with Philosophy a lot, Art I'm not sure about, as much as I'd love to think Philosophy and Art are linked on some level I doubt you'd get much linking between the two courses, but hey atleast you can prove you can study over a wide range. Physics would also show your versatile and it's the most connected of the sciences (if only barely) as most modern philosophy either supports or rejects the idea of Physics. Werner Heisenberg for example I remember from my A2 course in R.S (the philosophy side) had a counter to one of Newtons theories which was used in an argument about free-will. So yeah, Physics isn't the worst choice you could make if you want to do this course but I'd suggest R.S.
