I havnt studied D2 but M1 is not very difficult if you put a bit of work into it.

I am doing Further Maths A-lvl. I have already studied Fp1 and D1. I have an option of studying D2 or M1. I have not studied physics before and when I look through the M1 book I find it hard. M1 or D2?

Never looked at D2, I've seen some D1 and it looks painfully boring. At least mechanics seemed mildly interesting! (I had to do a bit for AO maths))

My vote: M1

Hope that helped, not a particularly reliable source :P

D1 I personally found extremely easy, though D2 has a reputation for extremely wordy questions, so maybe that's something to consider?

everyone found D2 easy in my class nd a few people in my class found M1 slightly hard .. but M1 you can basically get 80% by knowing suvat formula and knowing how to draw diagram properly... D2 u need to revise a little bit

I learnt both in Further Maths, and whilst I got a higher mark in M1, D2 was a lot more fun to learn, and I hated D1.
