Hey Guys, just wondering does any one know of any good online MATHS practise tests or work sheet things that I could practise as pre- interview preparation? If so PLEASEEE quote me (A)
What did you have to do for your task? Sorry that you got rejected, it's their loss!
I applied for Kingston (i've had the interview and got an offer), Herts (interview 9th Feb), Northampton (interview 16th Feb), York St John and Newport - both of which I haven't heard back from yet. Where have you applied?
Hi!
What was your Kingston interview like? Ive got an interview there soon.... xx
Wow those are a lot harder than expected!! Those are the QTS ones though right not the interview ones so are bound to be harder??
They are hard aren't they!
I've had two interviews, only one had a maths test, and it was on paper, about 15 minutes, and much easier... like Year 9 maths? I think its just because maths GCSE & A-Level have a lot of detail about trig and statistics and other topics, they want to know you are basically numerate in the things taught in primary schools! It won't be as bad as that! x
I've got early childhood so I don't have to take anything phew haha I panicked a bit then! I'm nervous for my interview !!!
hahaa that's ok then ! don't worry, it's really laid back.. theres like 10 of you in a big group and then you have to watch a dvd and feed back on it, then theres just a big open discussion. i'm nervous to hear back from them!

Haha you'll get it im sure! Do you know how many is accepted on the course? I had an interview at edge hill on Wednesday and I just received an offer today so I'm happy about that but I really really want to go to Leeds haha edge hill is lovely though! What q do they ask you? Just why you want to be a teacher? I like the group interviews I think theyre nice like relaxed
I am still waiting to hear from Brighton, desperately hoping it is good news as it is the place that i really really really want to go, it seems such a great Uni and the city is amazing! Is it your first choice?
Has anyone heard anything back from Reading? Has anyone even applied to Reading for teaching??
I know someone who has applied for Reading with English specialism, and had an interview and email about them intending to offer her a place, conditional on funding, and as far as I know she hasn't heard anything else after that :0) xx

When did you apply/have an interview at Wolverhampton? and how long after interview did you hear? Is it the Early Primary or General Primary that you have got an offer for?
I had an interview 7th December.. starting to worry as I've not heard anything since! How did your interview go/what are your predicted grades/subjects? Sorry for lots of questions!
x
I heard within a month. I'm doing general but i have all my offers now so Wolverhampton is now not one of my choices. Interview went well, my predicted grades are ABC in Geog, R.e and Maths respectively
Being a boy helps I think when it comes to primary ed!

thanks for replying! glad to know you know someone else who is applying there... although im worried that she has received an email about being offered a place if they have the funding as i have not received any email! ...or a rejection as of yet.
My interview was 3 weeks ago...do you know when hers was?? Im really worried now, ill be gutted if its a rejection and now it doesnt look hopefully

I don't know when it was, but definitely December or November, as I only met her in December at another interview and she had already had it.
She received the email about them not being able to offer places yet due to funding before three weeks ago, so I wouldn't worry They are probably still thinking about yours and other recent interviews, and then will get in touch
She hasn't had an official offer on UCAS, so stay calm I know it's hard not to worry, I am most definitely worrying about my choices! x
