Yeah it's still a pretty big room, ironically I was stuck with it because everyone else had picked the smaller rooms of lower floors!

Literally the first photo I've been envious of. My god.

I assume the guitars are something to do with your income?

That's very kind of you to say . I'm still at uni full time at the minute (Post grad, funded PhD), but guitar playing has been a major passion of mine for a long time.

Here's a wee clip of me playing some new tune I've been trying to learn over the last couple of days if you're at all interested  :

Everything, literally everything you see in my workspace pic below cost less than one iMac or Macbook. Computer, speakers, monitor, desks, chair, lamps, furniture, everything.

Hi there

What a lovely setup.

What is the thing you have to the right of your monitor? Where sells them?

It would be handy for storing letters and printouts.

Cheers

wow, nice!
What's your audio set up? I want to put something together but have no idea what I'm doing, I like to think I have a keen ear, but not a keen eye for the right gear. :P

Thanks [=

The audio pathway is the Mac Mini feeding a FiiO E17 portable DAC/amp (Which isn't pictured, its strapped to the underside of the desk) via USB. I bypass the amp section of the E17 and feed the line-out into my venerable old Arcam Alpha 8 speaker amp which I inherited from my dad. The speakers are Wharfedale Diamond 9.1s, and the headphones at the time (I alternate between about 6 pairs) were the Philips Fidelio L1.

Awesome! How did you get 3 monitors by the way? As my graphics card only takes two!
