If you're looking for something affordable, then I'm not quite sure whether you'll get the best noise-cancelling earbuds or headphones. What's your budget? Also, most of the brands have started giving discounts on occasion for thanksgiving and Black Friday. So, you can grab offers too.

You'll certainly get a good pair in this price range if not the best.

Yeah, Sony is one of the top brands in making noise-cancelling earbuds and headphones. On top of that, their quality is topnotch though I have noticed their flagship level ones aren't very cheap.

Just letting you know I currently use JBL Live Pro TWS 2 which was £129 when I bought a year ago and still, they're pretty good.

I think this is the best time to get headphones because of all the offers that are going around. £100 is max I would spend but if there are any that are cheaper and good I would get it but I just dont know which ones

Is this good? Sony WH-CH720N Over-Ear NC Wireless Headphones

The one you mentioned shouldn't be a bad one looking at its specs.

These are some of the others within your reach:

Have a look at them and pick a pair which suits you best. All of them have active noise-cancellation features. Just to inform you Sony's Link Bud series is quite renowned.

I bought Sony WH-CH720N Over-Ear NC Wireless Headphones from John Lewis last week and I'm really happy with them. Definitely worth the money. They were £79.99 reduced from £99.99 and came with a 2 year guarantee. Same cost at Argos but without the guarantee.

is the noise cancellation really good?
i think this is the one i am going for haha
Personally use Beats Flex. They sit round your neck so they don't go missing and are just easy to carry around. Issue is they don't charge while in use and do become worn. They are really cheap compared to their previous equivalent (BeatsX). Now only around 40-35£
