No, from 1950 and beyond.

You'd think that with England being such an old and historic country, its universities would be so too. Unfortunately, this isn't the case. The USA, despite being a much newer country and a far greater number of historic universities (i.e. the 19th century).

Just to add (and correct me I'm wrong) but not only did England, Scotland and Wales not have any universities founded in the 17th and 18th centuries (England didn't have any founded between the 14th century and start of the 19th century) but no Cambridge colleges were founded in the 17th and 18th centuries either.

There was just over 200 years between Sidney Sussex (1596) and Downing (1800).
