I've been out since year 9 (which is.. 4 years ago? it was pretty soon after i worked it out) Most people have been supportive, i only lost a few friends, but my mum basically forced me out in a supportive way? I don't know if i was ready but she's bisexual herself so its not like she had any foul intentions

Oh goodness, I've known I wasn't straight since I was a kid! I didn't really know what to name it as until five or six years ago.

Some homophobia yes, but not extremes. I'm very lucky to have open minded and accepting parents/family.

Yup - I think I was 18 when I really came out to my parents, but they knew before. It's not something I really discuss openly, I came out to a new group of friends last year and that was pretty scary still.

Yes, especially in my religious studies class. Also this certain guy in school who always calls me a lesbian for some reason, as if it's an insult lol - I just always reply with "At least I get more pussy than you", or if he does it again, I'll just tell him I ****ed his mum.

I'm out to my friends since about 1.5 years ago? Not my parents though. My friends were fine with it, I'm just worried my parents won't accept me or they'll be kind of weird about it or something.

I'm out online and to a couple of close friends irl (they all took it really well!) but not to my parents. I will only tell them if I'm in a long-term established relationship with someone that I could genuinely see myself marrying.

I went to the first session of my school's LGBT soc but the environment felt a little overwhelming so I didn't go back. I'm hoping to join one when I go to uni, mainly just to make queer friends.

Definitely. I'm not going to vote for a homophobic bigot just because they make me pay less tax.

It's complicated. I have a semi-gf? We both know we like each other but they live 70 miles away and we haven't met irl yet so we don't want to make things official. I guess that's a lesbian stereotype - long distance relationships lmao. It kinda sucks though.

I'm a bit of a typology nerd so if I reduced someone down to their personality types: ExFP 7w6 so/sx (basically a kiri kinnie).
But my semi-gf doesn't actually fit any of those so that just proves that it really doesn't matter. We just have to click.
