Police Tactics all wrong
News are reporting that the Police forces on the ground have not been trying defend any property or shops from looters during these - simply standing by and holding group formation. It appears they will sit and wait till CCTV footage can be used to identify culprits and pick them up at a later date - Is it me or is this a method of policing and ass-end way of doing things.
What happened to a good old tear gas/ police horse and baton charge?
What was bound to happen sooner or later is that other crooks have picked up on this fact and realise that they can loot in large numbers with little or no resistance - expect this patterrn to be repeated in every shopping district around the country with a council estate in a 5 mile radius.
