What's the most disturbing scene you've seen in a film?

The 'newborn porn' scene in 'a serbian film' was pretty disturbing. I watched the uncut version online that was banned pretty much everywhere and the noises the baby was making were horrible, I had to take my headphones out. There was another scene in it where a woman had all her teeth pulled out with pliers and was suffocated with a man's penis. Hideous film.
'House of Wax' where that guy gets turned into wax and his friend doesn't stop ripping his skin off! And that girl's suicide in 'Kidulthood'.
I'm not disturbed too easily (or maybe I just haven't watched enough freaky films) but I seriously hate that part in Drag Me To Hell where the dead old granny falls on the girl and all her mucus and whatever goes in the girls mouth :s-smilie:
The scene from Begotten where 'God' disembowels himself.
It's hard to be too disturbed by something you know is fiction.

I didn't know the true events/story behind 'Dear Zachary' so I was watching it unaware of what would happen. People who've seen it will know what bit would've been very disturbing.

And on a relatively lighter note, Catfish also makes you think. It's not 'disturbing' in the Dear Zachary sense but it made me feel very uncomfortable.
When they are forced to play russian roulette in the deer hunter. I could full understand why they all went crazy from it.
The scene in 'This Is England' with the mad racist attack was horrible.. and the TV series was graphic too. :frown: But they are such excellent pieces of film!
Private Ryan when the guy is stabbed really slowly and shushed by the German as he does it. That didn't sit right by me for years, it's the reason I can't watch that film again
don't know if I already mentioned it (as this is such a long thread, I forget!) but there are two scenes in Irreversible that are extremely nasty (one prolonged rape in a subway, and a murder)
Saw.
I'm watching The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo right now and there is a anal rape scene that is quite graphic and disturbing, I'm actually hoping the girl kills him before the movie ends.

Yep, the rape scene in Irreversible for me. Horrible.

Also Eden Lake, but I can't even pick a scene. The whole film is so disturbing and uncomfortable to watch.

Thanks for warning me, I was going to watch this with my dad.
Anal Rape in the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
In ''running scared'' theres a scene where some 'carers' are fooling some kids and make them perform sexual acts.
I always find scenes when someone cuts themselves very disturbing, they make me cringe to the max.
I watched 'the ruins' a couple of days ago and when the blonde started cutting herself at the end I was literally under the blanke, covering my ears and biting on my bottom lip.

I don't scare easily with films but this film I think it was called Martyrs was just gross.

I watched Enter The Void recently. Even in that, without the violence I've heard of in Irreversible, Gaspar Noe is one disturbing director. It's on my 'to watch' list for sure.
Any of the Saw films. Worst idea for film(s) ever in my opinion. Just blood & torture, since when was that entertaining?

or Bambi, get's me every time.

not really, i just love this gif
