From what i've heard from others it's really good, but I can't really comment so much on nightlife, as I don't drink, therefore son't go out unless iit's to a restaurant or cinema. But they're both really good, and there's loads of shops.

I'd be quick if I were you with Brayford Quay. I heard from friends today who were re-booking that they're going VERY quickly/gone already. Private Accom has even fewer spaces for 1st years than normal this year.

Are applicants supposed to apply for accommodation now?

We do indeed. First come, first serve. Last year 1st years could apply as soon as we got an offer.
How do you find the online application form thing for accommodation? does it only appear when you've confirmed Lincoln as your first choice?
This evening I received a random call off Lincoln Uni with a overly excited women on the other end. She congratulated me on getting a offer at Lincoln (which I've had since early November), then asked me if I wanted to ask any questions as for 'one tonight only' she had current students to answer prospective student questions. Seeing as I had been halfway through eating my dinner while watching TV, it was obvious that I had many questions to fire away at this one night only opportunity.....

Since I had absolutely zilch she quickly moved on, asked me if I knew about the applicant days and could she book me on one. As I have no idea of the dates or what I may or may not be doing on those dates I asked her to email me the details. After this she thanked ME for ringing her, and if I had any other queries just to ring....so I quickly thanked and ended the call.

Got back to my dinner and it was cold. Thanks Lincoln!

Anyone else had a call like this?

Sounds like a fake call to me...UoL don't do that sort of thing, you can ask current students questions at the open days.
