UoG Mathematics 1X & 1Y

does anyone know what happens if you fail maths 1X degree exam? are you allowed to go to 1S? and do you have to resit the exam in august?

You wouldn't go from 1X to 1S.

Only people in 1R will go to 1S and 1X will go to 1Y. They are slightly different courses, (1X and 1Y being for people with a slightly better ability who may have done better at higher/advanced higher maths).

It's most likely you would resit in August.

You will have to resit 1X but you can, of course, change to 1S. No problem at all. I think you do not even need to talk to your adviser since myCampus lets you do that.

Nothing will change. You will still be able to do a degree in Maths.
