You really like someone. Let's say, for argument's sake, they're a girl. You're not quite ready to ask anything of them yet, but there is someone waiting in the wings (let's say another guy) who really likes them too! And she likes him! Win win? Except for you. Only...if you truly like this person, no matter how much you want them, you'd try and get them together with this other person, right?
