I have like 5 close friends who I speak to on a regular basis and because I've just left college those are the ones who have bothered to speak to me and vise versa :P

The others at college can piss off.

depends what you mean by friend, because different people have different meanings... not including family/family friends also.

if you mean that i can call up whenever and tell everything and anything to, then 2... but i have difficulty trusting people to that extent, so that seems a lot to me. even so there are still some things i wouldn't say.

if you mean hanging out, go out, meet up, have a good time etc. etc. then a lot more than that.

Around 20 that I truly feel comfortable around.

Real friends? Around a dozen.

Other people who i'm comfortable around and spend time with but don't feel close to? Another dozen or so.

Acquaintances? I don't know, never counted. Would guess around 50.
