check out what the ums boundaries were for the same exam last year! http://store.aqa.org.uk/over/stat_pdf/AQA-GCSE-OUT-GOING-GDE-BOUND-JUNE11.PDF

lets hope they are similar this year
i reckon it will be 147 for an A* 105 for an A

lets hope they are low... i made such a huge mistake and ended up entering the exam hall really late! I had to complete the paper in 45 minutes when it was a 2 hour exam :frown:

also for the question following the box plot i got the range stays the same, and the lower quartile/median will increases. I got both the angles as 147 - the first was corresponding and the second was alternate. I also got 26 for the number between 25 and 30 which cubes.

yeah they all look right

Definitely thought non calc was better!
And last year's grade boundaries for linear were:
A* - 161/200
A - 115/200
B - 77/200 (which is a whopping 39%...)
the total of this specification is 175 so where are everyone's guesses to A*? id say 145 +\- 5
Reply 51
A* - 135+ (Maybe 140)
A- 110 (Maybe 115)
B- 80 (Maybe 85)
C- 60 (Maybe 65)

No, A* will be around 160-170, as compared to previous years this one was quite easy. But since its a new spec they might lower the boundaries. Hmmm.
