How Does the Michelson-Morley Experiment Disprove Absolute Motion

Hi, I am doing a bit of relativity for A2 physics. I understand what the experiment results were and how it showed that there is no aether or even an aether-like substance but I don't understand how it is associated with relative motion or absolute motion :confused:

any help will be appreciated :smile:
