Can you change course to an Open degree halfway through?

I've wanted to do OU for ages but there isn't a particular course that stands out and I'm worried I'll change my mind a year or two into the course.

How easy is it to change courses? So for example, if I start doing Psychology but then two years later decide it's not for me, can I change to an Open degree?

And vice versa...if I start off with the 'Introducing the social sciences' module on an Open degree and then decide that yes, I do want to do Psychology, can I change courses?

Apologies if these are silly questions!

Yes, you should be able to change! I'm unsure of the specifics of how new students would do this (some processes are different for new and continuing students) but give the OU a call if you want to make sure.

It is probably a lot easier to change from degree x to an open degree as there are barely any requirements for an open degree whereas named degrees have quite a lot of specific specs.
