Year 12s: what will be the first way you research your future options? >>

Hi guys,

I'm currently studying Computer Game Design at UWS, it's not even been one week since I've been here and I'm already doubting my choice. I got this course as an extra UCAS choice and while I could have probably got onto a better course with my HND I think the two year gap between my HND and applying for uni hurt my options(Even if it didn't hurt them, it didn't help). So far some people might be asking "OK so where is the question?" well here is the thing I'm 22 now and when I finish I will be almost 26 or 27 depending on if I do Honours. What really worries me is that if I hate my course and leave for a year I will be even older and i don't want to come out of Uni at 26+ with little to no Industry experience. What I need is help on what my options are.

Some might think I'm panicking (which isn't wrong) but I'm willing to give it at least a month or two to see if I like the course but as I said above I'm not exactly getting younger.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
