Russia bans US Citizens from adopting Russian children

Hey Guys;

Don't know if you are aware of this but on Friday 28th December 2012, Russian president Vladimir Putin signed a law banning US citizens from adopting Russian children in retaliation to the Magnitsky Act signed on the 14th December 2012.

Since 1992, over 60,000 children in Russia have been adopted into American homes and this now prevents further adoptions from Russia into America.
In 2011, some 3,400 children were adopted into foreign homes, with nearly 1/3 of those adopted children making their way into US citizen's homes.

Just another example of out of touch arrogance. His country is crap, don't try and help your people by letting some be adopted by first world countries. Such a prick.
