Economics at Nottingham

Hello everyone

I'd like to ask any current or former students who are studying or had studied Economics at here about the module called " Project/Dissertation " in the final year. Is it very difficult and tough since I learned that this module is solely assessed by this gigantic coursework ?

To be honest, I also have an offer from York in Economics and Math which doesn't have much coursework to do (usually exam-based) and that previously made me lean toward York.

However, this morning I discovered that the tuition fees for international students this year has risen dramatically at York (38%) but only a little at Nottingham (only 7%).

Consequently, I have to make up my mind again and I'm afraid that being a mature student without formal qualification like A-level in Economics will put me in a big disadvantage for tough module like the final year project.

Any help or advice is truly appreciated !!!!
