how many people on your course ???

I'm assuming many people are in freshers week and others will be starting next week including introductions to your course. I was surprised at how few people are on my course, although not everyone turned up. There's 15-20 on my course and about 35-40 on another course with which our first year is completely shared ! my mum did history (at a bigger uni I think) and said there were nearly 100 on her course, although that could have been during lectures shared with other courses, in which case, on my geology topics, there should be over 100 of us. ??????????

It completely depends on your degree, and which university you go to. My course has well over three-hundred students in one lecture! My friend, however, studies a less popular degree and says there's only ten of them in one of her lectures. It's nothing to worry about!

130-140, but this is likely to reduce in 2nd and 3rd years as people become more specialised with their degree stream.

A grand total of 4 or 5 on my course, they'll be up to 20 in shared lectures and there's about 60 first years in the whole college. Clearly I'm one extreme!
