Paragraph Spacing for Personal Statements?

Is everyone adding full paragraph breaks in their personal statement? I was intent on it, but it uses up so many of the 47 lines I'd have to cut down significantly on my content as a result.

What's everyone else doing?

When I applied to uni, I didn't put paragraph breaks in my PS and I got 5 offers
Yeah my friend's applying and I'm pretty sure she didn't put them in

It's up to you.

Anyone who doesn't leave gaps is sending a clear message to the admissions staff that they're unable to produce a statement that is concise enough to be easily read.

Compare this and this with an example with paragraph spacing.

Then imagine you're an admissions tutor with only 10 minutes to read through every application (including both PS and reference).

Which PS do you think will get their points across quickest and clearest and which PSs do you think the admissions staff will just skim read and risk missing the important parts?
