Learning Arabic

I was wondering if anyone knows of a decent computer program that can help teach you arabic (reading, writing, & speaking)? I've been searching for a good one, but unfortunately don't know which ones are best. I want to teach myself some arabic, and if I enjoy it, maybe try and continue beyond beginner... :smile:

Hi!

I've started to learn Arabic too - but to be honest, I wouldn't recommend learning by the computer. Reading books has worked for me.

Do you know how to read Arabic? If you don't, you need to get over that hurdle first. I don't know a "teach yourself" website/programme, but I'm sure there's lots of things out there (they might cost a bit though!)

I have loadsa loadsa websites to do with alsorts of different areas of Arabic. Tell me if you're interested.

PS - Your choice is great - Arabic's a great language to learn. There's a few grammatical hurdles, but to be honest, they're the best bits for me! It's all very logical.
