UOL International Qualifications Question

I have no idea what GCE/GCSE O or A level means. I am considering applying for UOL International Programs BA History program and they emailed back stating this as one of their main entry requirements; can anybody clarify?

"have two subjects at GCE 'A' level, plus at least three further subjects at GCSE/GCE 'O' level at Grade C or above..."
A Levels and GCSEs are British school qualifications, though sometimes taken by schools outside the UK. O Levels are what GCSEs used to be called, but they're still used in a few countries.

International equivalents will be entirely acceptable to them.
