Not particularly, I'm sure you know about Target universities, Glasgow isn't one,so it will take top grades and amazing EC's to break in but its definitely doable. Though you will be given alot less leeway in Interviews and Assessment Centre's then someone from a target like Oxbridge,LSE,UCL/Warwick. Ultimately it's not a good choice, arguably if your choices are only in Scotland IMO Edinburgh would be better(even that is not ideal compared to targets) but if she's at Glasgow now, then as I said it's hard but doable.
