Mmmm nah it's like any place really, not that bad when you've got the right people around you :smile:

(and I've certainly met my fair share of interesting folk in my time there so far O.O)
depending on whether you're more of a "house party" or "club scene" kind of person it's alright I guess.... prices are good, especially on student nights, the club's are easy to get too (from accommodation anyways) and if you do want a different scene there's easy access to train stations :smile:

You've got the theme park, beach and various stereotypical pier attractions all connected to the looong high street and of course the new high-tech library (which is actually a lot cooler than I thought it was gonna be haha)

But yeah like I said, in my opinion it's also those you have around you who I think can really make or break your experiences sometimes (if you let them of course lol) and I suppose depends on your course too haha
