Hi I'm currently on foundation at ccw (camberwell, chelsea, wimbledon) specialising in Fashion & Textiles. Applying for Textiles outside London as I really just wanna get away from home, have a proper uni experience etc! Applied to MMU, Leeds College of Art, Nottingham trent, Glasgow and Winchester. Offers from MMU and Winchester so far  Had an interview for Glasgow yesterday, anyone else had one??

Hi, I was at the Glasgow interview for textiles yesterday, how did your interview go? I've applied to Nottingham, norwich, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Chelsea. Offers from Nottingham and norwich so far. Glasgow was one of the harder interviews I think, but think it went OK..:/ did you take 10-15 pieces or more?

How did your interview go? Could you tell me what kind of questions did they ask you?? I'm just curious cause I applied for fashion design there and my interview's on the 27th.
Good luck with your application!

Think it was ok aswell, but agree with you it was a harder interview for sure! A much more formal interview than I was used to, a lot more questions and didn't give you much feedback about your work. Think I brought more than 15 pieces, I didn't really know what 'pieces' meant away not particularly clear!! Probs had roughly 15 sheets, two sketchbooks and some small drawings in a stack

Hello, the interview was alright just alot more formal than previous ones i have been to, they asked the usual questions like who's your favourite designer, what are you inspired by, where do you want to be in 5 years, why do you want to go to GSA? i made sure to ask them questions also throughout the interview to make it a bit more conversational, and then they ask you if you have any questions at the end so be prepared to have some ready. They also asked me to go through my portfolio so some of the other questions were kind of portfolio specific. They said that the course is very drawing based so bring drawing work. Hope this helps, Good luck!

Yeah, i found they didn't give much feedback so not sure how it went, the email after sending the digital folio said to bring 10-15 pieces to an interview but then the interview pdf didn't specifiy :s-smilie: i found it a bit of a shock that the interviews were in the yr2 and 3's studio's. Think they seemed alot more conversational half way in though, fingers crossed! :crossedf::crossedf:

Yep cos I'm already doing the foundation in London. They literally only offer 5-10 places for 2nd year entry, so chances are crazy slim!:frown: Did you ask how long it would be till we heard back?

What accommodation are people looking at?
Hello ! I've been given offers from chelsea and leeds but I'm so stuck as which to go for... Leeds is print which is more what I want to do and it's also closer to home as I live in whitby and it also seemed friendlier, but I know Chelsea's reputation is amazing... And what ACCOMODATION are people thinking about in London? Help !
