Lufbra (Loughborough) is pretty fab! I'm loving my degree and i've only been ere 3 weeks! learnt so much already!
The best chemistry department in the world, mmm. Caltech's department is pretty damn good, 3 nobel laureates currently on faculty.

Personally I often wish I'd had more grounding in physics and mathematics as an undergraduate, however, it does look a bit jack of all trades to me - but this is common in the US first degree system. Graduate education to gain specialism is much more common in the US.
