love this one, have a good look through the site as so many of them are lovely, even some that look quite short will be cute on you as you are petite.

I love this dress: http://littlemissglamour.com/product/stunning-shimmer-lake-floral-organza-lace-dress/

and there's this one too: http://littlemissglamour.com/product/stunning-floral-spring-organza-lace-dress/

I prefer the first one but it's a tad more expensive and idk how much my parents will let me spend! Plus, shipping's also another £5 on that website and it says that it could take up to 30 days to deliver!

I don't really like it tbh, sorry :frown: it's just a little longer than I'd like and the neck is a bit too deep... I do like this one tho: http://www.marksandspencer.com/embroidered-daisy-prom-dress/p/p22288370

but cheers for your advice :3

yes, up to 30 days, guess if you need it in a rush you might have to give it a miss but they are divine and not expensive.

Well, my prom's not until June 27th so I do have quite a bit of time on my hands, just depends how quickly I can make a decision!

its not a prom but I have a gala ball thing towards the end of next month and I am no closer to a decision about what to wear than I was
two months ago, I mean literally not even a rough idea!

well actually, the guys will be in tuxes and I think most of the gals will be wearing long dresses/formal ballgowns so I did think I'd go for something knee length, I like to be different!

Hey, I'm looking for a prom dress and I've been scouring the internet and I simply can't find one so would it be okay if you could give me some recommendations, please?

I've fallen in love with this dress: http://www.quizclothing.co.uk/clothes/00100002600.html but I've found out that someone else in my school is getting this dress but in pink ://

I'm looking for another dress sort of similar to this, I'm really into the lace effect. I'm about 5'2" so I want a dress that's above the knee but not a dress that's really short and tacky.

Talking about tacky, I don't want those ugly "Irish-gypsy-inspired" dresses. I just want a dress that's classy and elegant, but also quite pretty.

I preferably want a dress with straps because I don't think I'd be able to hold a strapless dress up, but please recommend some nice ones if you do find them!

Oh and my price range is up to about £70 but I'll probably have a bit of leeway depending on what the dress looks like. And preferably dresses from UK websites because of shipping

Sorry about all the expectations but hopefully I've kept them broad enough

Any useful ideas is greatly appreciated and I'll give a rep to any dresses I absolutely adore and/or choose in the end!

Have you tried TK Maxx? I know you have to look around to find something decent but I found my year 13 leavers dress in there about a week before the day. My dress was quite similar to the type you've described in your post as well

I usually detest TK Maxx because it takes so long to find stuff and the one where I live is so messy! But I'll defo check it out, thanks!

House of Fraiser does really good dresses, often designer and sometimes cheaper than from the actual store
