Do I need a stamp?

This is probably a really stupid question but do the envelopes you're provided with for the accommodation form and the university card thing need stamps? I don't want to a) use up stamps if I don't need to or b) send things without stamps when they do need them.

Yes, they most probably do. Even if they don't, the price of a stamp really isn't worth the risk.

I put stamps on mine, the envelopes didn't have the postage paid thing on them.

If it isnt a freepost address and doesnt haave Postage Paid, Business Reply Service or a 1/2 in the top right hand cornver then it always needs a stamp, I would get it weighed as it may be happy and will definitely be a large letter now.

I put stamps on them but I didn't get it weighed or anything. Oops, I hope it's ok! I may be the one living in a cardboard box outside the English department come October if not.
