how can i get a scholarship?
when you start as a lecturer you get all sorts of temptations so you just gotta be stringer than the flesh. just a Little advice

Dunno mate. I haven't heard of UK universities offering scholarships for undergrads.

I have a few mature students every year. I tend to like them as they are closer in age to me and are usually more serious and harder working than 18 year olds.

Depends on the university.
Some offer academic scholarships (sometimes only for specific courses) and some offer sports scholarships.
e.g. https://www.surrey.ac.uk/fees-and-funding/scholarships-and-bursaries?field_student_level_value=undergraduate&field_subject_grouping_target_id=All&field_student_type_updated_value=All
But many don't have any at all.
