Anyone used National Extension College for Biology?
I am considering signing up for A-level Biology with the National Extension College, because they state that you can do the practical coursework element at home and have it marked by their tutors-it is simply too prohibitive in terms of cost for me to travel to do a practical workshop (the cheapest option I have found would cost about £700 inc.transport, just for one module).
I was wondering if anyone here has studied Biology with this provider recently (past 2-3 years), and if their claim is true? Are they any good? I don't want to pay money for a course if it turns out further down the line that my coursework won't be accepted by the exam board after all. Thanks.
