Hes been nominated once in the past I think? Failed to win(doubt he cares about some "prize" though). I think the only reason Malala won this was because she was shot by the Taliban. I know she stood up for herself etc etc etc... But I personally think it comes down to being shot by them. Her gaining more prominence means you can make The West's war more justified and so on.

Shes a young girl too but we've never heard of her before. Comes down to whose doing the killing IMO.
