is using multiple positions normal?
Ok so I had sex properly for the first time last night, and the guy kept changing positions constantly - we must have changed maybe 6 or 7 times? and I was wondering is that normal? Maybe i'm just naïve but I always thought you'd go with one and stick to it til the end :P
Really there's not exactly a hard and fast rule on these things.
Sometimes my hubby and I just do 1 position and that's it, sometimes 2, sometimes 3...
okay never 6 or 7 that's pushing it a bit, but still it's not exactly like there's no room for variation depending on the day and/or how you feel at the time.
As pickup says, maybe he's just trying too hard to "get through his list", or maybe he thinks that's what you want and he's trying to please you by seeming creative, or maybe he just fancied giving different positions a go.

I would say 2 to 4 times is normal, it really depends how long you were having sex for, not sure why a virgin female would put up with that though. So if you did not like the constant changing perhaps you should have been more vocal you can't just blame him. To be honest though there is no real normal in terms of changing sex positions, it's about the two individuals and what's normal in their relationship and how they communicate.

If you had sex last night for the first time - 1) Ouch 2) Well done 3) the first time tends to hurt - I could only do one position he first few times I tried it.

Haha thanks for the info, i'm not trying to overanalyse I was just curious as whether or not that's what I can expect every time as it wasn't particularly enjoyable! Eh well it was a one night thing so i'm not fussed, just wondering :P
